YouTube Kids
YouTube Kids, a video app made just for kids, is filled with family-friendly videos on a variety of subjects to spark your kids' inner creativity and playfulness. It was created to provide kids with a more contained environment. With a variety of parental controls, you can encourage your children to explore the world. Parents and other adults who care for your children can help them along the way as they discover new and exciting interests. You can learn more about it at youtube.com/kids. A safer online experience for children We strive to keep YouTube Kids' videos family-friendly. We use a combination of human review, automated filters developed by our engineering teams, and parental feedback to safeguard our youngest users online. However, given that there is no perfect system and that inappropriate videos can get through, we are constantly working to improve our security measures and provide additional features to help parents create the ideal family environment.
Reduce the amount of time spent in front of a screen: Personalize the parental controls experience for your child: If you limit how long your children can watch, they will be more likely to participate instead of just watch.
Follow their viewing closely: By checking the watch it again page, you can always find out what they've watched and what new interests they're exploring.
Blocking: Dissatisfied with a video? If you block the channel as a whole, you won't be able to watch the video again.
Flagging: You always have the option of notifying us of inappropriate content by marking a video for review. Videos that have been flagged are looked at seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day.
Create experiences that reflect your children's individuality. Create up to eight kid profiles, each with its own preferences for viewing, video recommendations, and settings. Go with the "Approved Content Only" mode or select an age category that is suitable for your child, such as "Preschool," "Younger," or "Older."
If you want to select the videos, channels, and/or collections that you have authorized your child to watch, select the "Approved Content Only" mode. In the "Preschool" Mode, which is intended for children under the age of 4, videos that encourage exploration, playfulness, creativity, and learning are curated. The "Younger" Mode is available to children aged 5 to 8 and lets them experiment with a wide range of topics like songs, cartoons, and crafts. While kids over the age of 9 can search and explore additional content in our "Older" Mode, such as kid-friendly video games and popular music.
All kinds of videos for all kinds of kids Our library has a lot of family-friendly videos on all kinds of topics that will make your kids want to play and pique their imaginations. Everything from learning how to make slime or build a model volcano to their favorite shows and music is included.
